Located right off Indian River Boulevard, Vero Isles is a sweet Vero Beach neighborhood. The locals call it the “fingers” Because Vero Isles is made of up a series of streets along peninsulas which jut out into the river, and from above they actually look like fingers reaching out into the water.
The neighborhood features a lovely park with river frontage on three sides. As an added benefit, there are few neighborhoods around with a better view of the Fourth of July fireworks display launched from Memorial Island on the opposite bank. If you want to be right on the river, close to your private boat dock, and walking distance to shopping and dining, it’s hard to beat the community Vero Isles.
In fact, most of the time there is enough dining a shopping right in the Miracle Mile Plazas that you don’t even have to get in your car to find everything you need. Between the Fresh Food Market, the Publix, Too Jays and the other restaurants there are plenty of good options for dining, shopping and wine.
Vero Isles neighborhood was established in the 60’s and building continued well into the 1970’s. The homes were relatively modest by today’s standards for waterfront homes. These days, as you drive down the finger lakes, you can still see some of the original homes, but more often than not, you will see homes that are considerably larger and more grand. Whatever your preference may be, this is a case of that old saying in Real Estate. What are the three most important things to look for when you are purchasing a home? Location, location, location!
This neighborhood has it all. It’s located in the perfect area. Close to the bridges so you can quickly hop over to the barrier islands, but unlike homes on the other side of the bridges, convenient to shopping and dining, while still on a waterfront location.
